I LIVE!!!
Hullo hullooooo!!!
I know its been quite a little while since my last post, but I'm finally actually IN Japan! The past few days have been pretty intense, and today is the first day where I feel a little less insane. JET lag can really get to a girl! I'm currently typing from my desk at my school, which is the only place where I currently have the internet. The upside is well, the internet, but the downside is the firewall that tends to block most websites inside the school! It looks like I can come here, but not photobucket, so I can't post pictures until I get my internet hooked up at home.
I'm doing well though, if not a little frayed around the edges. The flight over was quite the experience - I didn't get any sleep despite my efforts and so when I arrived in Tokyo I was almost delirious. I still somehow managed to go out and get some Udon with a few other people though, which was deeeelicious, and I have pictures to show when I can!
I feel like I should wait until I have some visual aids to really say too much, because otherwise I'm just going to keep saying "and I have pictures! :D"
Big thanks to everybody who has stopped by so far and left comments! I'm sorry I haven't responded to them, but I'll have more time in the coming weeks. Although the students are on summer holiday right now, if I don't come to school then I have to use one of my 20/year paid leave days, and I'd rather not to that! So I'll be sitting at my desk every day this month, and I'm sure I'll have time to write and eventually make this picture diary have pictures. *laughs*
So bye for now, and hopefully I'll get the internet at home soon so I can get around this dang firewall.

Wee! Sounds exciting Kate! Get pictures up soon, woman, soon! I want to see this fancy country you're staying in, lol. Have you noticed anything really different from Canada yet? I understand it's only been a few days, but I'm curious! Curious!

I'm glad you arrived all safe and sound! I hope you get to go sightseeing and all the other tourist crap and take some pictures. I hope you get to do a lot of things.
Hopefully this month isn't too boring.
I hope to hear from you soon!
