Great GOOGILY-MOOGILY!

Typhoons are absolutely INSANE!! The wind actually woke me up numerous times last night, with its high-pitched howling. Its been raining non-stop since last night, and it is quite obvious that its not going to let up anytime soon, the sky is completely gray and its all just constant. My VP Mr. Mistuya predicts that'll it'll probably be with us for a couple more days, even.

Today I decided to brave it and attempt to head to school, and obviously I made it because I'm here, but I'm sitting in a pair of very soaked jeans. I have this teeny little compact green umbrella that is oh-so convenient, but oh-so NOT typhoon ready. I'm going to have to spring for an umbrella here methinks. Now I know why everyone carries the really long, big, sturdy ones everywhere: because they don't go inside out and fold themselves down onto your head when you have to push them against the wind!!

The rain literally whips at you, and changes direction constantly so there's no way you can't get wet. Everybody is staying inside today, except for us unlucky few who have no choice but to head out into it.

I'm probably just going to take a taxi home today, as expensive as that will be, because the walk to the bus stop home is longer, and there's no shelter at the stop and I will get absolutely drenched. I don't worry so much for myself, as I do for my bags, and what is inside those bags. I don't need wet things! Oh I'm just being a whiner.

Seriously though, bleargh. I'm just hoping it'll all be over before Monday, when I have to foray out towards Nagasaki for a meeting.
